PRESS When I purchased the American Chang dip dye blazer I bought it for its look. Everyone wants to look nice, but I had no idea how much attention I would get on my first wearing.

I took it to the tailor and the woman wouldn't shut up in broken English how much she liked my jacket. It wasn't the "you are a customer so I have to act interested" type talk either, but rather the "I've been doing this a long time and I am fairly certain I have never seen a jacket like this". We got to talking and I got a discount either due to my charm or the jacket, or some combination of both. Nonetheless, that is 10% more I will have to use for something constructive or destructive.

The first night I wore it out to the bars I got 5 compliments! One from a bar tender (also a free drink or two), who noticed the inside and the poodle logo. Next I infiltrated a group of 3 or 4 girls. While the topic of conversation varied, the jacket came up and they said most guys just wear the same blue blazer. It was decided I am not most guys. More importantly I also received several touches to check out the pockets. Maybe she just wanted to touch me, but the important thing is that the pockets and their uniqueness provided her the proper social avenue to touch me in a flirtatious manner. How the night ended is between me, her and the jacket, which also makes a clever robe in the morning.

To recap: American Chang gets you discounts, drinks, compliments, touches, and the satisfaction of knowing you are hotter than a drunk jock. I'm not a balla, but I sure think I could be now!
